WINDCOLOR® is a well established business with over 30 years of experience. It has operated successfully and has gained popularity amongst architects and contractors in South Africa and Botswana. Recently Duro Pressings (Pty) Ltd acquired WINDCOLOR®. This acquisition compliments the Group's existing product range with offering of an exclusive window and door system.

WINDCOLOR® is an integrated system of cold-rolled galvanized steel sections, fittings and gaskets for making windows, doors and doorframes. The WINDCOLOR® system is an architect's dream as it allows the designer to design windows and doors in almost any size and any colour.

The WINDCOLOR® system has been designed with an Italian sensitivity to detail and consideration to all fenestration needs namely; strength, durability, reliability, functionality of its fittings, air and watertight properties, heat and sound insulation, fire-resistance, protection, easy and quick installation and low maintenance.

A winning feature of the WINDCOLOR® system is the incredible strength of cold-rolled tubular steel sections. This gives architects and designers the versatility to utilize larger window and door openings that would be otherwise impossible in other materials, for example aluminium and hot-rolled steel sections. The system's slender sections do not compromise the structural performance of the product, whilst creating increasingly more elegant and bright windows and doors.

WINDCOLOR® products are manufactured from galvanized, pre-painted powder coated sections resulting in corrosion resistant and low maintenance products. The windows and doors come with an integrated glazing system and are supplied fully glazed and can accommodate numerous types of glass, including double glazed units.
