STRENGTH

made with the Windcolor
system is the particular
strength of the cold-rolled
tubular steel sections. The
superior strength of rolled
sections compared to
extruded, pressed or any other
type of shaped components
in the manufacture of frames
has already been well
established.

DURABILITY
The Windcolor system ensures
perfect austhetic coupled with
functionality. The painting
cycle consists of 12 treatment
stages in successive tanks
with electronic control of
dipping times, application of
a cataphoretic primer and a
top coat with polyester
powders. Subsequent
machining therefore presents
no problems, while the highest
performance requisites are
satisfied.

RELIABILITY
There is no fear with a painted
steel frame made by
Windcolor that its
components will buckle or
warp. Continual top quality
performance is guaranteed by
the proverbial strength of
rolled steel and its low
coefficient of expansion
combined with the precision
of the machining systems, the
efficiency of the frame
assembly accessories and
fittings.

AIR & WATERTIGHT
PROPERTIES
Full, functional use may be
made of sealing gaskets with
the Windcolor system, while
compensating joints may be
created to give exceptional
performance even when there
are strong winds. All frames
made with the Windcolor
system have passed
regulation quality compliance
tests with flying colours.

FUNCTIONALITY OF FITTINGS
With the complete, diversified
range of fittings exclusive to
the Windcolor system,
windows and doors may be
made that are not just
functional but also easily
integrable from an aesthetic
point of view. The well
thought-out design and the
severity of controls ensure
constant full functionality of
all the movement and closing
mechanisms of the finished
frame, even under conditions
of severe stress.

EASY INSTALLATION
Windows and doors made with
the Windcolor system come
fully finished, including glazing
and ready for installation. A
special sub-frame makes
installation possible even
where apertures in the wall
have not been prepared.

INTEGRAL PROTECTION
In the Windcolor system the
frame sections are protected
by a plastic film during all
machining stages as well as
during installation and the
various finishing stages on
site. The end user is therefore
guaranteed a frame without
scaling, splitting, chipping or
changes in colour and also
without splashes of plaster.

HIGH HEAT & SOUND INSULATION
The Windcolor system
standards far exceed those of
normal quality regulations.
All the hollow parts
communicating with the
outside are insulated and
double glazing can be used in
all Windcolor frames. The
efficiency of the locking
mechanism plus sealing
gaskets complete the heat
and sound insulating effect,
in compliance with South
African National building
regulations.

SPEED
Manufacturing and installation
times of frames made with
the Windcolor system are
extremely short, all to the
advantage of delivery times.
Windcolor means easiness of
machining and assembly,
thanks to the advanced
Windcolor technology, which
provides painted sections
requiring no further protective
or finishing treatment.

MAINTENANCE FREE &
FIRERESISTANT
The finishes and the doors
made with the Windcolor
system have a far longer
average life than those of
competitors and alternative
products and require very little
routine maintenance, even in
the presence of particularly
aggressive atmospheric
agents, and is resistant to
Africa’s harsh UV rays. The
quality of the materials used
and the technologically
advanced painting procedures
ensure lightfastness and
absence of deformation or
combustion, even in the event
of accidental emanation of
intense heat.
