WINDCOLOR is an integrated system of cold-rolled galvanized steel sections, fittings and gaskets

The drastic reduction in possible infiltration and consequent energy savings offer interesting possibilities of reducing the overheads of public premises. The performance of a WindSlide frame up to 4 sq.m, assembled in a workmanlike manner, is as follows:

Resistance to wind load
Up to class V2a, in accordance with UNI standards (110km/h). This performance is possible thanks to special reinforcements inside the meeting stiles.

Air Filtration
Up to class A3, in accordance with UNI standards (less than 2 cu.m/h per linear metre of openable joint at a pressure of 100Pa).

Watertightness
Up to class E3, in accordance with UNI standards (static pressure over 300 Pa). This has been made possible by the continuous glazing gasket and special technical features on the closing mechanism:

• The frame-bearing roller assembly is housed in a special slot to guarantee perfect adherence of the lower and upper gasket to the sill and head respectively of the outer frame during closing
• A simple, specially contoured handle locks the meeting stiles together and at the same time performs a lateral counter-thrust action of the sashes or panels
• special space made on the frame jamb allows perfect adherence of the gasket or seals of the stiles to the outer frame.

Heat Insulation
All frames made with WindSlide component may have double glazing installed as well as single glazing. The reduced surface area of the metal sections ensures an overall average transmittance of K 4.5 - 4.9 with single glazing and K2.8 - 3.2 with double glazing plus considerable energy saving thanks to the reduced heat loss obtained by cutting out draughts.

Sound-proofing
The WindSlide component guarantees excellent acoustic comfort thanks to the evenness and compactness of all its parts and perfect adhesion to the masonry. A special sealing gasket, applied to the whole openable perimeter, eliminates the possibility of any echo.
Double glazed units can dramatically dampen noise pollution - STC 42.

Dimensions
The WindSlide component offers the possibility of installing frames of different heights and widths according to the performance required, all to CNR-UNI-10012 standards.
